Once your AUSTRAC business profile form (ABPF) has been processed, an AUSTRAC Online business account will be instantly created for your business.

If you requested AUSTRAC Online access when submitting your ABPF, you will be emailed a login name and password to access the AUSTRAC Online business account as an 'Administrator'.
AUSTRAC Online provides three different levels of user access:

Users with Administrator level access are responsible for maintaining all contacts and users for an AUSTRAC Online business account. Therefore, the Administrator for the AUSTRAC Online business account can alter user privileges to allow users the specific level of access they require (for example, to create and submit transaction reports).
Your Administrator can tell you what your AUSTRAC Online user ID is. If you don't know who the Administrator is for your business's AUSTRAC Online account, you can contact the AUSTRAC Help Desk at email@example.com or phone 1300 021 037 (a local call within Australia).
If the Administrator is no longer with the organisation, the 'AUSTRAC Online user access form' can be used to apply for access as the new Administrator. To access the form and further information please visit the About AUSTRAC Online page.
To change your contact details or password, log in to AUSTRAC Online and select the 'My Details' quick link. Your user account details will be displayed onscreen. At the top of the screen you will have the option to 'Update my Details' or 'Change my Password'.
If your business has ceased operating, or if your business no longer offers designated services, you must request to be removed from AUSTRAC's Reporting Entities Roll. You can submit your request via the Reporting Entities Roll removal form available in the Business Profile of your AUSTRAC Online account.
If you have an AUSTRAC Online account only for reporting under the Financial Transaction Reports Act 1997 (FTR Act), you do not to need to submit a form to have your AUSTRAC Online account deactivated. You can email the AUSTRAC Help Desk directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to request that your account be deactivated.
If you have forgotten you AUSTRAC Online password, you will need to reset it. To reset your AUSTRAC Online password:
- go to the AUSTRAC Online login page
- click the 'Forgot your password?' link located directly below the 'Login' link
- enter your user ID (which should be your email address)
- click 'Submit'
- AUSTRAC will automatically email you a temporary password to your nominated contact email address.
If you have forgotten your user ID, please contact your AUSTRAC Online Administrator.
No. You can make changes to the form and then save it to your computer to complete later.
You will require Adobe Reader version 8.1 or higher to access and complete the AUSTRAC Business Profile form or Reporting Entities Roll removal form. The latest version of Adobe Reader can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website.

By default, Mac OS X uses its Preview program to view PDF files. This program does not allow you to access the AUSTRAC Business Profile form or Reporting Entities Roll removal form correctly.
You need to install Adobe Reader 8.1 or higher. The latest version of Adobe Reader can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website.
Once Adobe Reader is installed you should download and open the AUSTRAC Business Profile form and Reporting Entities Roll removal form with Adobe Reader.
Google Chrome has a built-in PDF viewer by default. Chrome's PDF viewer does not allow you to access the AUSTRAC Business Profile form correctly. To access the AUSTRAC Business Profile form you will require Adobe Reader version 8.1 or higher. The latest version of Adobe Reader can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website.
Once you have installed Adobe Reader, you should download the form in an alternative browser (not Google Chrome) or download and save the file to your computer and open it with Adobe Reader.
