Lists of exemptions and modifications granted
AUSTRAC can grant an exemption to provisions of the AML/CTF Act or FTR Act to specified individuals, businesses or organisations. These exemptions can be revoked, either at the request of a reporting entity or at our discretion.
We can also grant modifications to provisions of the AML/CTF Act. Modifications of obligations are not available under the FTR Act.
We are legally obliged to publish these exemptions and modifications on our website.
