Freedom of Information disclosure log

The Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) requires AUSTRAC to publish all documents released in response to an FOI request, as well as information that is routinely requested. We do this via our FOI disclosure log.

Exemptions from the disclosure log

Some information released under an FOI request is exempt from the disclosure log. This includes:

  • an individual’s personal information, or information about their business, commercial, financial or professional affairs, if disclosing that information would be considered unreasonable
  • other information the Australian Information Commissioner may determine unreasonable to disclose
  • information that would need to be significantly altered to avoid disclosing any information included in the first two bullet points
  • information that is considered to be exempt under the FOI Act
  • information that is restricted or prohibited by legislation from being disclosed, other than as allowed or required by the relevant legislation.

Accessing disclosed information

Information released as part of an FOI request is published below in PDF format for you to download.

You can also write to us to request the information in another format. We may charge you an upfront fee for administrative costs and postage but we will advise you in advance if this is the case.
